Riya is a Japanese name. Me and my mom make a perfect pair because Riya means singer and Urvashi (my mom's name) means dancer. Well, the only problem is my mom does not know how to dance and I do not know how to sing. But we can learn and try to change that. At birth, I was naughty. As I became a toddler, I removed my grandmother's utensils from her shelves. I also ordered my grandparents to make the bed every morning when I woke up. I do feel embarrassed now about that. In December 2009, I was mad at my dad. I grabbed a plastic bag and collected my favorite dress given by my gradma, a few fluffy toys, and I announced my leaving the house to never come back.
My nickname is Piali, my mom calls me by it all the time. I was named Riya because my mom thought it was short and unique. I love my name because it's special to me.
